One licence. One Mac. Everything on-device.
Annual, renew-to-continue · single Mac · free 3-page trial
Padan Scan is sold as a single, flat annual licence — no per-page fees, no usage metering, and nothing ever leaves your Mac. Try it free on your first 3 pages, then licence it to keep going.
What one licence includes
- On-device OCR — Apple Vision recognition tuned for Indonesian and English, running entirely on your Mac. No cloud, no uploads.
- Trados-ready output — a clean, unstyled
.docxwhere one paragraph equals one segment, alongside a plain.txtand a.review.txtsidecar flagging anything the recognizer was unsure of. - Bilingual glossary — keep your terminology in one place, tag terms by document type, and export to
.tbx(also imports.tmx,.tbx,.xml,.csv). - Indonesian legal-citation detection — recognises and preserves the citation patterns of Indonesian legal and civil-registry documents.
- Concordance over your own past translations — search what you have already translated, on your own machine.
- Fully offline — the app makes no network calls. Everything above works with the Wi-Fi off.
Free 3-page trial
You can run Padan Scan on your first 3 pages free, with no licence and no payment, so you can put your own worst scans through it before you decide. After the trial you licence the app to keep processing pages.
Requirements
- macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later
- Apple Silicon Mac (M-series)
Annual, renew-to-continue
The licence is an annual licence for a single Mac. It runs for one year from purchase; to keep using the app you renew it for another year. There is no automatic per-page billing — it is a flat yearly fee. Licence keys are delivered by email after checkout.
